Honeymoon destinations in Cambodia

Luxurious destinations or high-end or starred resorts still come to mind when talking about honeymoon holiday. I have created a list of popular resorts and destinations in Cambodia for honeymooners, which can be found here. It is comparable to a list of luxurious resorts around Cambodia.

There are 3 popular destinations for this type of niche market:

• Sihanouk Ville & coastal areas
• Mondulkiri and
• Siem Reap

These destinations provide great sense of luxuriousness, comfortable life and especially romantic atmosphere with great view for memorable experiences. Lucky for me, I have stayed and visited many of these resorts but not as honeymooners, as hotel quality inspector or travel adviser only . 

• Sihanouk Ville & coastal areas: few islands with crystal clear water & white sand with high end quality resorts, such as Koh Songsaa, Koh Russey, Krabey Island, Koh Rong and some island in Kep/Kompot. Some are located at mountain areas with few waterfall surrounding.
• Siem Reap: town center with five-star hotels, e.g. Park Hyatts, Phum Baitong
• Mondulkiri: beautiful resort such as Moyura resort and Hilltop resort
