Mirror Lake of New Zealand

Mirror Lake is actually a resting area when you are en route from Queenstown through Lake Te Anau to the most famous Milford Sounds of New Zealand [South Island]. It surprised me when I did some research and that there are Mirror Lake of US (in Washington) and Mirror Lake in British Columbia of Canada. Here, I am talking about the one in New Zealand. It is the most beautiful resting area or scenic photo point I have to say. The bus you are taking would stop here for like 30mns and allows passengers to use restroom, take photos, and walk around on the track. The reason they called it the Mirror Lake perhaps because it provides outstanding reflections of the Earl Mountains. It is about 400m returned walking track where you can stretch your legs after few hours on the bus. There, I met 3 beautiful Japanese friends, who actually came to visit Cambodia in 2016.

• The mirror lake is just part of the journey to the Milford Sounds. 
• Here, there are parking space, restrooms and big room for photography.
