Visiting Auckland of New Zealand

Auckland city has more population than other big cities in New Zealand. It has about 1.5millions in its urban areas. It is also home to the largest Polynesian population in the world. There are people from many other countries, Indian and Chinese share the largest proportion compared to other immigrants. It is also the most expensive cities to live in as well. It has pleasant weather compared to other towns in NZ.

I cannot say Auckland is the most beautiful city since every city is beautiful in New Zealand. If you are looking for populated city, this must be it since other cities have small population only.  What special about the city is that they call it the volcanic city refers to Mount Eden, the volcano located just by the city. Auckland is home to some top notch restaurants, and enough hip cafes and cool bars to rival Melbourne. You just need to know where to find them. 

It is home to three top universities ranked in the world 

• University of Auckland
• Auckland University of Technology 
• Massey University  

There are other universities as well such as Unitec and many other colleges.

There are activiites you that you can do here such as 

• White water rafting
• Canoeing
• Bungy jumping (from Sky tower)
• Hiking to nearby mountains
• Zorbing (globe-riding or sphereing)
• Scuba diving

Where to go around Auckland? Among all, I love Mount Eden the most because you can really see the whole Auckland city from the top of the mountain including the Sky Tower!
