Some islands in the bucket list in Cambodia

The island trip just triggered my hobby not too long ago. Before, I always wondered why people go to the island?

Well, I got my answer after my first luxurious trip to Koh Songsaa private island in 2018.

I had been to Koh Russey in Sihanouk Ville since 2011 but I don't think I had a pleasant experience because we took a wooden boat which is very prone to sinking during big waves. I was so scared. However, throughout the years, with development of high end resorts at the islands, especially at Koh Rong Sanleum and Koh Rong, it is more convenient to go to islands now by speedboat or big ferry. 

Koh Rong Sanleum, best for relaxing

According to CNN, there are 7 best islands in Cambodia that you should try visit. Those islands have its unique points. Some are very good for relaxing, some are for party and some for nature watching. However, since Covid-19 locals travel a lot to local destinations that unveiled to many of us. We got to know many new destinations.

With four provinces along the coastline of Cambodia, Sihanouk Ville has more beautiful beaches than other three provinces. However, beaches along the coastline cannot be compared to those at the islands for some reasons. It can be due to its unspoiled habitats, natural beauty, less polluted, sense of more privacy? 

From my personal experience, among all islands I have visited, I would recommend Koh Rong Sanleum if any of you ask me where to? Because it is affordable, with very long white sand beaches and less people.
