Olympia, the capital of Washington State [USA]
Many people including me thought that Seattle is the state capital of Washington but it is not. It is Olympia and it is about 1.5hours by drive from Seattle.
Who wouldn't thought it that way when there are a lot to see in Seattle, including mountains and evergreen forests, as well as thousands of acres of parkland. Seattle has more population and actually is the largest city of Washington State and it’s home to a large tech industry, including Microsoft and Amazon headquartered in its metropolitan area.
Well, everywhere is almost the same here but seeing the capital city of Washington made me eye-opening. It is so different and so eye-catching and jaw dropping. I cannot imagine how big Washington state can be. Beyond Olympia, it is Portland of Oregon state and it is about 3hours drive to get to that town.
The view around these areas must be more beautiful in Summer and Spring when flowers bloom and all trees have leaves. Here in Winter, it is rather grey and very cold too. Yes, Covid-19 made this place very quiet which is very good for photo takings in one hand and quiet and sadness in another hand. I love the facts that it allows people to enter and enjoy the view around here.
