Leavenworth, a dazzling German village in Washington [USA]

I had a great time with my friends visiting the Bavarian village at Washington state.

Cold and fresh atmosphere at the village

Leavenworth is famous for Christmas lighting. The town attracts many people from around here to come and visit. This is such a beautiful tourist village where you can enjoy many thing including beer and food.

There are so much around the village: Bakery, Breweries and Distilleries, Agritourism (so many farmlands: Orchard, Farmer market, Fruit Barn, Flower farms), arts, theaters and music, museums and gardens, camping, birding, cycling and mountain biking, golfing, hiking and trails, equestrian activities (horseback rides, carriage rides, wagon rides), fishing, standup paddle boarding, rafting, kayaking and tubing, rock climbing, skateboarding, ziplines and many others adventurous activities.  

 

However, the town is more like a festive village where you will find everything. The village is located in the Cascade mountains in central of Washington state, about 2.5hours drive from Seattle - east on 90. Google map is here. There are so much to see and do around this town.

All year round, there are so many events that attract people to come here, stay and enjoy. It might be various depends on years.

• Very famous among Instagrammers!
• Famous for its beers & food and Christmas Lightning
• Before getting to the village, you will cross many farmland - very good to go in Summer!
• From Seattle, through 90 - we will cross the national forest for several miles. In Winter, the view along the way from Snoqualmie pass to the village is just unbelievably beautiful with snow and snow on Christmas trees along the way!
• Friendly for visitors all years round!
