Kratie: the only place for fresh water Dolphin
Kratié, known locally as ក្រចេះ [Kraches or Kracheh] is a northeastern province of Cambodia. It borders with Stung Treng to the north, Mondulkiri to the east, Kampong Thom and Kampong Cham to the west, and Tbong Khmum and Vietnam to the south. Kratie is one of the 5 provinces along the Mekong. After Stung Treng, Kratie has greatest taste of Mekong freshwater fish. Farming and fishing are main livelihoods for local people.
